AFAN Open House
Members of the Association for Astrological Networking will be holding another Gathering in celebration of International Astrology Day on Sunday, March 21, 2010, in Lititz, PA.`
We're planning an "Open House" event, beginning at 12:00 PM with a meet-and-greet. The day will include a $5 book swap (proceeds to go to AFAN's Scholarship Fund), a costume contest, and an eat-your-way-through-the zodiac potluck meal. Astrologer and AFAN member Frank Piechoski will give a talk on Essential Dignities, and Bill Trivett, a local astrologer and owner of New Visions Books and Gifts will present on Chiron. If you have an astrological or related topic you'd like to discuss, we'd love to hear about it. A screen and projector will be provided if you need it.
Our costume contest needs a first place prize, and so we are requesting a donation of an astrological or other divination reading, or perhaps some other service or item to be awarded to the clever person who comes best dressed as their Sun, Moon or Ascendant.
If you would like to present a topic, donate a prize, or contribute to the potluck, please email Lisa Benjamin at Lisa@astromythic.com or call 717-625-2518 or 717-824-0697.
We hope to see you on March 21 and talk astrology!

A blog carnival is an internet-based event featuring a large, permanent collection of informative articles on a given topic. Several blogs host pages with article descriptions linked to sites where articles are posted. This particular carnival celebrates International Astrology Day and presents a variety of useful essays about ways individuals can contend with the cardinal t-square during 2010-14.
The three host bloggers showcase articles on how transiting Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto will affect individuals' lives and what they can do to integrate the useful side of each of these energies. Authors for each day give readers ideas and problem-solving tools to tackle the inevitable challenges and get back on solid ground.

Aurora, Ontario, Canada
The Robin Armstrong School of Astrology, Aurora, Ont. Canada, will be organizing a trip to Forest Woodhenge, deep in the woods about 70 minutes out of Toronto. We will be at Forest Woodhenge for the exact sundial noon and the exact Spring Equinox.
The woodhenge trip is a little rugged, in that we go 1.5 miles into a forest and there are no facilities. Hopefully this year, there may not be snow, but in that case there will be mud! We are not charging anything for this event, but there are things that people must be ready for. It will be about a 5 hour adventure. We go in regardless of the weather, but this leaves many last minute decisions: like skis or snowshoes or hiking boots for mud and appropriate clothing.
We will be leaving from Aurora, On. At 11 am March 20
