West Sussex Astrologers was formed early in 2005 by local astrologers Jennie Scott, Debbie Sellwood, Sarah McCrae, and Carol Duncan. An exploratory meeting was held on 28 January, at Bosham House, Bosham, Chichester, when 14 potential members attended. After some discussion it was agreed to name the new group West Sussex Astrologers, and to launch at 7.30 pm on Friday 25 February 2005 with the Sun conjuncting Uranus in Pisces.

The first meeting celebrated Uranus, and drew an attendance of 18 members. Since then, we have continued to meet at 7.30 pm on the 4th Friday of each month at Bosham House. During the first year, we have enjoyed evenings on a wide range of topics, and welcomed several guest speakers.

The West Sussex Astrologers are an independent and non-profit making group of astrologers and students from varied backgrounds. We aim for unity in our diversity and to support and inspire one another at whatever stage of our journey we have reached.
