Caught in the Web

July/August

In this edition I’ve a few interesting sites for you to check out, if you like reading some in-depth astrological articles you should find them well worth a visit. I also thought it would be useful to include some useful websites for those of you who are attending this year’s conference

http://www.rudolfhsmit.nl/hpage.htm
This is a site that states it is "The Scientific Exploration of Astrology" Easy to navigate and nicely laid out, this website containing over 70 articles. The aim of the site is "to provide articles related to scientific research into astrology. The authors are mostly researchers who, unlike astrologers, have no vested interest in the outcome." You may not agree with all the articles here as it takes a sometimes controversial and critical view of astrology, but it is a site to be aware of and worth exploring.

http://www.zodiacal.com/
Also known as Zodiacal Zephyr, this is useful for its various astrological resources. It has a chart making facility, the current year's ephemeris, latitude and longitude equivalents, a collection of data, and various other resources. The best thing about this site in my opinion is the list of informative and interesting astrological articles.

http://www.astrozero.co.uk/
Garry Phillipson’s Astrology In The Year Zero website follows on from his book of the same title. It includes many interviews with some of the world’s top astrologers as well as a wealth of intelligent and erudite astrological articles. Highly recommended

Conference related websites

With conference in mind I thought you might like to explore the immediate area. Wyboston Lakes is located on the Cambridge/Bedford border. For information on the area it's worth exploring this website to see some of the delightful places that it may be worth visiting whilst you are in the area.

Wyboston Lakes have a very helpful PDF containing travel information and how to reach them, whether by road or by rail

http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/

If travelling by road then it's worth checking your route with the Automobile Association’s very useful Route Planner or if you are travelling by train you can check times and book tickets at National Rail’s website

Finally, don’t forget to visit the conference area on our own web site for all the latest information about conference and speakers.
