The quality and amount of astrological articles on the web continues to hold my attention. I've found some more for you in this issue. I'm hoping that you enjoy reading them as much as I did

The Arizona Society of Astrologers have over 100 articles listed by various authors. Subjects are many and diverse, ranging from Horary through to traditional and on to psychological astrology. Subjects are many and diverse, ranging from horary through to traditional and on to psychological astrology. Subjects covered include: retrograde planets, Chiron, chart dispositers, solar returns and the Moon's Nodes. In fact there are far too many to list so I'll leave a link to one of my favourite articles on the site. Hellenistic Astrology by Doug Noblehorse:

Candy Hillenbrand's "A Place in Space" website is another rich source of articles by various astrologers. Again there are too many articles to list them all. Most of the articles are from the 1990's but since when did good astrology go out of date? It doesn't and the wonderful thing about the Internet is that these articles are still there for us to read. Links however do go out of date, so a lot of the links that Candy lists are unreachable.

A review of online articles wouldn't be complete without mention of the articles on our own website. We have a selection of articles from previous AA Journals dating from 1999 to 2008. This is a remarkable historical snapshot of the AA Journal and well worth a read. We also have occasional astrological articles commenting on current news as well as Jenni Harte's World News. We also have a Blog which reflects some of the articles posted on our website. Why not check it out?

With this issue's final review I feel as if I have made myself redundant. Dan Ciubotaru's astrology database is a database of astrological articles to be found on the web. This site is more than just a list of listing links, Dan posts an excerpt of each article, followed by a link to the original site the article appears on. Links to articles are submitted to Dan for consideration before being listed, he avoids linking to 'horoscopic sites' and overly commercial sites so you know you can safely click on his links without being inundated by advertising. Dan's motto is "Sharing knowledge for better astrology!" His website certainly seems to do just that.
And Finally…
Not an article but good news for all astrologers. Lois Rodden's Astrodatabank has been transformed into an open project which allows online access to all the birth data for free for the first time. Check it out at http://www.astro.com/astro-databank/Main_Page
Also new from Astrodienst is their free encyclopedia of astrology which can be found at: http://wiki.astro.com/astrowiki/en/Main_Page"
This article, written by Glenda Cole, first appeared in the May/June 09 edition of the Astrological Journal Glenda Cole is chair of the long running Suffolk Astrological Society and local groups co-ordinator for the Astrological Association. She freely admits to being an Internet addict, spending many hours online on the lookout for good astrology websites. If you know of any she may like feel free to contact her: astrogroups@gmail.com
